First Bands for 2016 Line Up Revealed

ReverndPosterWe are so excited to announce that some of the fabulous bands who put their faith in Livestock 2015 will be returning to us in 2016 for your enjoyment as well as some really exciting, newly discovered acts that we can’t wait to let you know about. MORE HEADLINERS COMING SOON.

Chloe Warren Band

The Chloe Warren Band is the first of lots of new bands that will be attending Livestock in 2016. Chloe and her Band hail from Glastonbury and have gigged all over the South West for the last couple of years achieving radio plays and lots of festival sets with their alternative sound. Have a look at their sound cloud below and watch out for their first EP release in January 2016, entitled “White Noise”.

Megan Timms

Megan comes to us strongly recommended by lots of friends in the local area. Megan is well known locally and writes as well as performs all her own music. She will join Livestock in 2016 on the second stage. For starters check out her Frank Ocean Cover:

Martha Makes Mistakes

Martha Makes Mistakes, made up of Jess Mason-Wilkes and friends, is the first act who will be joining us in 2016 on our NEW Acoustic Stage. Jess and friends have honed their skills on the streets of the UK Busking their way around the country. You might have even seen them somewhere near you! Check out their video here and look out for them on a corner near you in the run up to Livestock 2016!

The Dirty Smooth

The Dirty Smooth are another newly discovered band who have been proving their worth and selling out shows across the South West in 2015. They will be joining Livestock in 2016 with, in their own words, “A gang of musical rascals with the intention of bringing good old fashioned dirty yet smooth songs back to the masses.” Look out for their latest EP “Rise” and check out their sound here:

Meg Haydn

Meg is another act to join the New Acoustic Stage for 2016. Meg hails from Cheltenham and gigs regularly across the region, including in The Fleece in Bristol and lots of other local festivals. Meg is currently recording her EP and we will let you know when it is released but for now you can check out one of her own songs here:

Grafton Ash

Grafton Ash delighted Livestock visitors in 2015, going down incredibly well on the Main stage.  We first discovered Dan and Dan from Grafton Ash at our 2015 Festival launch party at the Tavern in Cheltenham where they played to a host of Journalist and locals excited about a new festival in the area. Since then, the pop/folk band from Bromsgrove have gone from strength to strength appearing at numerous venues across the region as well as several radio plays.  We can’t wait to have them back at Livestock 2016.

Bengal Lancers

Bengal Lancers are another band we discovered in the run up to Livestock 2015, recommended by an old employee who more than proved their worth on the main stage. Harry, Charlie and Max delighted Sunday afternoons relaxed crowd and have just confirmed they will be back for 2016.

Done by Sunrise

Done by Sunrise are a local Indie Pop Band made up of siblings, Scott, Loren and Jodie and now completed with the addition of Ross on cajon. With their upbeat atmosphere and great songs they got the party started on Saturday morning and will be returning in 2016 for more upbeat songs to get everyone going.

Gaz Brookfield

Gaz Brookfield is a solo acoustic musician based in Bristol.  Since winning Acoustic magazine’s 2010 Singer Songwriter of the year, he has spent his time on the road, touring the UK and Europe. In this time he has shared the stage with the likes of Levellers, Frank Turner, New Model Army, Nick Harper, Newton Faulkner, Miles Hunt, and many more, racking up over 1000 gigs to date.  He remains the only unsigned solo act to sell out The Fleece, Bristol, a feat he has achieved 4 times. The last two times selling it out 6 months in advance.  Gaz played the Main stage on Sunday in 2015 and will return again in 2016.

Fallen Branches

Fallen Branches were a late addition to the Livestock 2015 lineup and were a special treat for the Friday afternoon guests at the Festival.  This year they will return to the main stage with an evening slot, entertaining guests with their American feel.  Based in Malvern, the trio made up of Tyler Masssey (lead guitar, vocal), Marc Miletitch (double bass) and Mary Pitchford (fiddle) have deep roots in French and American music and culture.

Foreign Affairs

Foreign Affairs were one of the first bands we signed up in 2015 and were first on our list to book in 2016.  Having played at Glastonbury amongst other major festivals, this band are one most definitely on their way to the top.In 2015 they played a part in our success by first playing at our Festival launch in the Tevern in Cheltenham and later on the main stage. Can’t wait to see what they bring to Livestock 2016


Soap were another last minute addition to our 2015 Lineup and thrilled guests on Friday afternoon. This year they will play a late slot on the main stage. The band have gone from stregnth to strength gigging around South wales and built themselves a solid fan base. They are now playing across the UK in major cities and recently released their third EP “Sound Junkie”.

Johnny Kowalski and the Sexy Weirdos

There are not enough words to describe Johnny Kowalski and the Sexy weirdos. Those who didn’t attend on Sunday last year missed the incredible and indescribable performance! For a little taste of what you missed and possibly what is to come check them out here:
