Reef  – Friday 10PM – Main Stage

Since the arrival of Jesse Wood on guitar in April 2014, Reef are back stronger and better than ever, with a live album recorded over 2 sell out nights at St.Ives Guildhall mixing a set of inspired new songs with all the loved classics, a rousing new single for new year and a cover of the Aretha Franklin gospel classic How I Got Over. All with legendary Reef LA based producer George Drakoulias at the controls they have simultaneously recaptured and updated the sound of their classic multi million selling No.1 Glow album.

They’ve also been back on TFI Friday and on BBC 1’s, The One Show with a 6 minute piece on their Story Of The Song section where the band revisit, re-play and, along with George, tell the full story behind their classic Place Your Hands.  And now in 2016 Reef will be joining us on Stage at Livestock Longdon to headline the main stage on Friday evening!

Reverend and the Makers – Saturday 9PM – Main Stage

Reverend and the Makers will follow in the footsteps of Scouting for Girls at Livestock 2016, headlining the main stage on Saturday night.  The outspoken frontman Jon McClure, known as “The Reverend” formed the incredibly successful but occasionally controversial band in 2005.  After a couple of not so successful bands, John and co songwriter Ed Cosens, hit the main stream after being picked up by Wall of Sound Records with their Album “The State of Things in 2007.

After several more very successful singles and albums the band are now famous on the Festival circuit for their incredible festival shows, described by McClure himself as “unbelievable” and Reverend and the Makers have developed their own cult following with the “Rev Army”.  They say as their records were played less on the Radio, their following at gigs went through the roof.

McClure says that he is happy with the success he has achieved over the past 10 years, happy to still be making a living out of doing what he loves.  He describes it as the band “existing in this twilight zone between moderate success and being an irrelevance to most people within the M25”. Out in Gloucestershire, we think that is a pretty good place to be in the world!

The Fratellis – Saturday 10PM – Main Stage

Legendary band “The Fratellis” are joining the Livestock Line-up on Saturday 30th June.  With their up beat songs and incredible Festival performances, The Fratellis come to Livestock on the back of an incredibly successful career in the music industry.  Now pursuing solo projects the band still play the summer festival circuit together, with their best known songs such as Chelsea Dagger making them one of the best known bands around.

The bands latest offering “Tongue Tied, Eyes Wide” was released in 2015 written in just 4 weeks, shows the talent that the band have honed since beginning together in 2005.  They describe it as the easiest album they have ever made and perhaps that shows how good, and how natural it is.
